Hi HN,
I built SpeedyShare because cross-platform file sharing is still unnecessarily complicated, whether it’s Android to Mac, iPhone to Windows, or any other combination. Most solutions have limitations – AirDrop only works within Apple’s ecosystem, WeTransfer requires accounts for larger files, and many tools need app installations on both ends. So I made SpeedyShare to try and make it simple:
– Upload at SpeedyShare.app
– Share via QR code or 6-digit code
– Works on any device with a browser (desktop or mobile)
– No accounts, no tracking (anonymous analytics only)
– Files auto-delete after 30 minutes
I’m currently getting ~100 weekly users but growth has plateaued. I’d love honest feedback:
– Does this solve a real problem for you, or is the friction with existing tools not painful enough?
– What would make you choose this over AirDrop, Pairdrop, or email?
– Any UX or privacy concerns I’m missing?
Happy to discuss the technical implementation or answer questions.
