Reddit suspended my account without explanation, and I’m hoping someone here might have a connection who could help.
Roughly 2 weeks ago I created an account using my real name, real photo, and linked to my LinkedIn and GitHub. I was primarily active on r/ClaudeCode helping newcomers debug their code. Commented on maybe two news stories. That was the extent of my activity.
Then my account was suspended.
Reddit’s own documentation states that you get a message explaining why you were banned. I did not get anything. I got a “We had a server error…” banner at the top, and a missing avatar. No explanation. No notifications. I submitted a ban appeal… no response. Tried their customer support form… also silence.
If anyone here knows someone at Reddit who could look into this, I’d appreciate the connection. Not angry, just confused and would like to get back to helping juniors.
