Is it the ‘boiling frog’ problem?
Trump seems just one step removed from taking out political opponents by force:
– Bombs civilian
ships without process.
– Sends civilians to far countries without process.
– Builds private army under name of immigration police.
– Sends army to cities.
– Personally sends orders to police, army, judges, FBI, Supreme courts, corporations, law firms, news stations. And just about all are executing these orders regardless of law.
– Breaks all laws intended to protect the USA from a king.
And here on HN, when the USA is discussed, like a crypto law, it seems like a parallel world, where there is no awareness of that the USA democracy is a wounded deer with 6 arrows in it’s body. bleeding out. Here it’s discussed like laws will just be made and enforced like normal.
My question; Why is there no revolt? from the outside it looks like a civil war, where only one side is fighting.
