I built MetricsWave as an open-source alternative to Google Analytics.
It’s a self-hosted platform where you own all your data — no tracking scripts, no vendor lock-in, no sending usage data to Google.
The backend (Laravel) handles custom metrics, counters, tags, alerts, and an API for ingestion.
The frontend (React) provides real-time dashboards and visualizations.
Everything is open, extensible, and designed to be run on your own infrastructure.
Right now it supports event ingestion, dashboards, team roles, and alerting.
