I’m taking a bit of a swing here.
I’ve built a working prototype that makes a fast-emerging technology accessible to everyday people, designed to help combat inflation in countries with unstable currencies. We’re at a moment where fiat money is losing value faster than ever, and the problem is accelerating. There’s a narrow window to build something meaningful here, and I’m moving quickly because others are starting to chase the same opportunity.
Since graduating in May, I’ve been searching relentlessly for the right co-founder through YC’s co-founder matching, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Discord, even Telegram. I’ve had a few near misses, but I’m convinced the universe has a way of pairing up the right founders. I’m hoping that match might be reading Hacker News right now.
Here is the gist of the issue: Since the tariffs launched, countries that depend on US consumerism have been seeing their value for money decrease daily. This has affected their quality of life. Theres a solution that exists in the neobank space that can allow for people to stablize their bank account from pressure of tariffs.
I have an early prototype that I will share in a bit once I get a few things configured but here are some attributes I am looking for in my cofounder:
1) Deeply technical that can build things. Not an idea person but someone who deeply understands APIs, the current abstraction in crypto, understands EVMs.
2) Has an unreasonable work ethic. There is a lot of competition, but the world is vast, and the upside is changing the world and saving humanity.
