Spent the weekend building the SSG I wish existed.
Vitto: Vite-powered, simple templates, instant HMR, built-in search. Why? Next.js is a memory hog for static sites. Astro has too many moving parts. I just wanted something that works fast and stays out of my way.
Building websites shouldn’t be complicated.
