I’ve done full-stack development for 7 years so far and decided to try it out solo now as well.
I’ve been building dbDialog – a tool that lets you query your database in plain English, no SQL skills needed. You ask a question, dbDialog generates and executes the SQL, and returns the results instantly.
The goal is to make working with data simpler for founders, product teams, and analysts, without dashboards or manual queries slowing things down. It’s built on a privacy-first principle, so no AI can access your database and nothing is stored or processed externally beyond what’s needed for the query itself. Additionally I’ve added several masking layers to not expose any data for the LLMs.
Getting started is straightforward:

• Connect your database
• Start asking questions like “What were sales last quarter?” and see results immediately
